Our Story

TRESTRA-FoodEx Trading was born out of the partnership of two self-motivated and resilient individuals who share common passion in promoting Filipino brand of good food and tradition. We as life partners want to solidify what Filipino customs and values always try to imbue in any traditional Filipino homes, that is to celebrate quality time with our family, and what's the best way to celebrate it than having a delectable food being enjoyed by each family member. Giving "pasalubongs" or treats is a Filipino classic way of saying, "You are always remembered" and that tradition has cascaded through the years. We want to make it more special by offering the best of the Philippines! We are a specialty store, branded as “maxarap” by most of our loyal patrons, striving to offer everyone the best price for one’s special craving. Further, we want to engage local manufacturers of Filipino products to showcase their own and make it as a well-known commodity in the metro and in due course, groom it as a global brand.
